Thank you for your contributions to the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake Relief Fund
The University Art Museum has been collecting donations to support the people and the damaged regions affected by the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake.
We deeply thank you for your support and cooperation. The collected sum from October, 2016 to January, 2017 was 95,583 yen.
The donations were sent to the Japanese Red Cross Society, to support the recovery projects in the affected areas.

Conservation Project for the Important Cultural Property
Jo-no-mai (Dance Performed in Noh Play) by Uemura Shoen
The University Art Museum, Tokyo University of the Arts will undertake essential conservation work on "Jo-no- Mai (Dance Performed in Noh Play)" by Uemura Shoen through a grant from the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Art Conservation Project. We are planning to complete the project in June 2017 and display the work in the spring of 2018.
